The aim in developing this lathe was to build a massive and smooth-running machine which, thanks to its versatility, offers beginners as well as advanced and professional woodturners countless possibilities in workpiece design. The STRATOS XL is equally well suited for turning large, heavy workpieces as it is for turning pens, miniatures and lengthwise wood. In the meantime, it has proven itself in many woodturning workshops throughout Europe.
