Round HSS cutter for TurnMaster

The cutters are available in three cutting edge materials:

Tungsten carbide:
Tungsten carbide cutters don't need sharpening. These three throwaway cutters are designed to make light work of though and difficult material but also offer the ability to detail and finish resistant woods.

HSS:
Robert Sorby standard high speed steel (HSS) provides the woodturner with a material that can easily be resharpened to create an ultra sharp edge. This steel provides unmatched quality for the discerning woodturner keen on getting the greatest detail from their tools. Seven alternative cutters are availalbe in HSS.

Titanium nitride:
Titanium nitride cutters give added longlevity before sharpening is required. These cutters are TiN plasma coated onto Robert Sorby high speed steel providing the woodturner with a choice of seven job-specific tips. These cutters will sharpen easily providing a cutting edge much sharper than tungsten carbide.
