This heavy duty chuck is designed for large lathes to provide maximum gripping power!
The Stronghold Chuck is an excellent chuck for the larger lathes with a centre height of 200 mm or more. It is not recommended for smaller lathes because of its large diameter and relatively high weight.
The Stronghold Chuck is operated by a key. This provides some major advantages:
- One handed operation
- Solid holding power
- 5 to 1 ratio assures powerful clamping
The body diameter of this chuck is 113 mm. The Stronghold Chuck is supplied as standard with jaw set #2, a 38 mm woodworm screw and the operating keys.
