Exmac - Planer A200 with 16 Carbide cutting blades
EX-A200
Perfect planing results in a space-saving format!
The EXMAC A200 impresses with its solid construction, featuring unbeatable solid grey cast iron tables in this class and a unique planing shaft with offset 4-sided carbide (HW) indexable inserts.
The swivelling angle stop allows edges from 90° to 45°. The total length of the grey cast iron tables is 770 mm and can be extended to 1,350 mm with the integrated table extensions.
The EXMAC A200 offers maximum performance in a minimum of space and impresses with its outstanding price-performance ratio.
Planing shaft with carbide (HW) indexable inserts (can be used on 4 sides!):
In addition to the long cutting tool life, the advantage of this carbide indexable insert planing shaft over conventional strip planing shafts is that no fine adjustment is necessary when changing planing knives. This naturally saves time and eliminates the need for tedious adjustment work.
Repeat accuracy and thus precision are important advantages of HW indexable inserts. If an indexable insert is damaged, it is sufficient to replace only that one insert and not all of the blades, as would be the case with a strip planer blade shaft.
For woodworkers who value precise and efficient machining of their workpieces, planer shafts with HW indexable inserts are therefore an excellent choice.
The 4-sided, replaceable HW (carbide) indexable inserts reduce downtime and protect the machine components.
The low noise level ensures a pleasant working environment and the excellent surface quality eliminates the need for subsequent grinding work. In addition, their low power consumption is easy on both the environment and your wallet.
