On the Pro-Edge, it is possible to use abrasive belts with different grain sizes and quality. This robust material is designed to sharpen most steels. These belts are built using brick and pyramid abrasive shaping. The highest grit size (3000) will sharpen to two microns (the same sharpness as a disposable razor blade) and provide a factory finish to your tools.
To sharpen Tungsten Carbide tools, a diamond abrasive belt is required.
